The ESG Positive Impact Awards aims to recognize and showcase Philippine companies whose ESG practices have made a demonstratively positive impact on the community.
There are a total of fourteen (14) categories. Five (5) under Environment, five (5) under Social, one (1) under Governance and three (3) under Others.
The final submission date is May 19, 2025.
To qualify for the awards, your company must meet the following requirements:
DULY INCORPORATED
1.The company is duly incorporated in the Philippines with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
BUSINESS PERMITS
2. The company has the associated local business permits (Barangay Clearance, Mayor’s Permit, etc).
AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
3. The company must submit audited financial statements and income tax returns (ITRs) for the past three (3) consecutive financial years.
NO LEGAL OR FINANCIAL RISKS
4. The company must not be bankrupt and must not have any legal suits or negative reputational factors that may impair the image of this award program. This may be subject to additional verification by the organizers.
PROJECT DOCUMENTATION
5. The company must be able to provide relevant documentation to support the projects/initiatives it is submitting for evaluation (ex. concept notes/planning documents, implementation reports, monitoring and evaluation reports, survey data, stakeholders feedback, media clippings or press releases, etc).
AWARD TIERS & ELIGIBILITY
Tier 1 Publicly listed Companies (PLCs) & Large Companies (Revenue of PHP 10 billion and above)
Tier 2: MSMEs (Revenue of less than PHP 10 billion)
The awards are on a project basis, so if you are running multiple projects within your company or group, you can choose to submit more than one project.
Only ESG projects from 2023 onwards are allowed to be submitted for the awards.
Introducing our esteemed panel of ESG judges – a diverse and accomplished group drawn from a spectrum of renowned institutions. These institutions contain independent bodies specialising in governance and risk management, a prominent multinational financial services corporation, government agencies with a vested interest in sustainable development, innovation and growth, as well as reputable non-profit organisations actively engaged in economic, financial and business research, both in the Philippines and across the global landscape. Together, they bring a wealth of expertise and a broad perspective to the evaluation and recognition of excellence in the realms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.
There will be no presentations during the initial judging process. Once this stage is complete, the top winners from each category will be invited to present their submissions to the judges for The Most Outstanding ESG Project award.
There is a non-refundable processing fee of Php 24,000 per category per submission
There is an early bird rate of Php 19,000 for applications submitted and paid on or before March 19, 2025.
Payment should be made after registering your entries. A payment link will be provided at the end of the registration process.

The results will be announced in the Philippine Daily Inquirer (print edition), on its website, and across its social media platforms in July 2025.
A total of 56 awards (Gold and Silver) will be presented across 14 categories, with two Most Outstanding ESG Project awards given (one per tier).
Winners of the Inquirer ESG Edge Impact Awards 2025 will gain national recognition and advance to compete in the Asia ESG Positive Impact Awards 2025 in Malaysia, further amplifying their impact on the global stage.
Yes, all submissions are confidential and will only be used during judging sessions.
